My name is Rylee Jensen and I am a wildlife photographer based out of northern Utah, but you will find me all over the place - from studying brown bears in southwest Alaska in the summer to hiking the mountains of Yellowstone National Park in the winter. I graduated from Utah State University in 2019 with a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology & Management, and started getting more serious about wildlife and landscape photography four years ago. I still have a lot to learn and I can’t wait to see where this budding career takes me!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page - I hope my photos provide some inspiration and escape for you in this wild world! Feel free to reach out to me by email (rylee.jay.photo@gmail.com) or social media if you have any questions about prints, my photography, or wildlife in general.

My philosophy

ethics

First and foremost in my photography is ensuring that everything I do follows ethical practices. I do not bait or intentionally push/harass wildlife, support game farms, go into closed/unsafe areas, or support organizations that promote unethical photography practices. My goal is never to interfere with natural behaviors - keep wildlife wild.

mission

While traveling the world and photographing wildlife brings me joy personally, my ultimate goal is to find a way to use my photography to further conservation efforts to give back to the species I photograph. In the meantime, I try to raise awareness about important conservation issues facing wildlife today. Click on the link to learn more!
